PiQ Laboratories believes quality is the number one priority whether it be relating to our testing services or the customer service experience. Our extensive quality system and all relating policies and procedures adhere to ISO/IEC17025:2017.

PiQ takes the quality of test procedures and results very seriously with a commitment to maintain integrity at all times. A culture of continuous improvement is instilled within the business with all levels of the company committed to provide the most accurate results for each and every test.
Flexible Scope
Historically, laboratory accreditation within the UK has been based on fixed scopes of accreditation. This can be considered as restrictive in that it does not readily enable new or modified methods to be added to a laboratory’s scope, even where competence in this general area has already been demonstrated and there is a clear and immediate client need.
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) has acknowledged this and now permits laboratories, with a proven track record of technical competence, and enhanced managerial governance to internally accredit tests for that follow a generic method.
Our flexible scope of accreditation allows our laboratory to internally accredit ELISA and real-time PCR based tests to detect the presence of allergens. In addition we are able to internally accredit tests that use real-time PCR to detect the presence of biological contaminants such as adulteration of fish, plants and meat.
